Stéphanie Charland loves to be surrounded by beauty and lives in one of the most exquisite landscape in the province of Québec; Eastern Townships. She holds a Master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular biology and has been working as a scientist for the past 20 years. She loves hiking, extraordinary views and cheese that goes “skouik-skouik”! Books and imagination have accompanied Stéphanie in every step of her journey, from a very small kid who was reading under her blanket too late through the night… to a wife and mother. Always wanted to take a step forward, she moved with her family to Western Canada for a few years to experience something new. While she was there, she got deeply inspired by the capacity of children to adapt to a new life. Between sea and mountains, she wrote ‘Émile et la traversée magique’, her first novel.
