We are “broken” so to speak. It’s who we became as we grew up and the stories we believed about ourselves. This broken-ness in ourselves and others can cause us to be triggered when around certain people and the combinations of these are as infinite as the stars.
If we pause to see and love our own broken selves, healing occurs which permeates our own life and those around us.
In setting healthy boundaries around those whose broken-ness tries to rip into us, and consistently reinforcing those boundaries allows for healthy relationships to blossom.
